Hooked on Phonics Basic Program for All Levels

Hooked on Phonics over years of research has developed the most simple and easily understandable way for your child to learn.

Each lesson is around 20 minutes. Each lesson begins with listening to the DVD and being introduced to how letters sound. This is followed by going to the workbook and doing the learn and practice pages. When you accomplish a lesson you are given a sticker you can add to your workbook to show off your accomplishment .After a few lessons your child can read a story book using the words he or she has learned in the previous lessons. If your child seems to have slight problems reading the storybook go back and redo the lesson to insure success the next time.
As your child progresses, they will be motivated and excited that they can actually read and comprehend the storybook. This will encourage them to continue lessons.

You are also encouraged to go online to view the videos and games that are applicable to the level your child is at. This reaffirms the lesson plans in a fun way.

This system is of learning can be done at any pace that is both comfortable to the student as well as the parent.  It should never become intimidating and not be fun.
